Fish is where it all started back in 2003.
We stock a wide, varied selection of tropical and cold water fish. Pond fish, when in season, can also be found in store.
Our Fish House having been extended in the Spring of 2023 holds over 125 aquariums for you to view and choose your fish. We stock mainly community tropical fish but we do often have something a bit different in stock. If you cannot find what you are looking for then we are more than happy to order livestock in for you.
All fish pass through our specialised quarantine procedures before being offered for sale so you know your new fish are fit and healthy.
Our knowledgeable experienced staff which have a combined experience of well over 100 years of fish keeping experience can help you select suitable stock for your tank.

We have aquariums available in various sizes and designs from leading manufacturers, including Juwel, Aqua One, Ciano and Eheim.
We stock a wide range of live aquarium plants both in bunches and in pots for aquariums. Offering only the best quality from a trusted long-standing supplier who delivers fortnightly to ensure that we always have fresh healthy plants available.
If real plants aren’t your thing then we also stock a wide range of silk and plastic aquarium plants.Natural and artificial aquarium décor can also be found to help make your aquarium look stunning.
Our shelves are stocked with many beautiful and practical items to create the perfect environment for your fish. Pond plants including oxygenators, marginal and lilies, can all be found in store when they are in season.
We stock a range of aquarium and pond foods suitable for all the fish you will find in our store.Electrical items such as filters, pumps and heaters from leading brands such as Eheim and JBL can be found alongside more budget brands. All offering quality and competitive pricing.If your aquarium is in need of a clean we stock all sizes of gravel cleaners, cleaning equipment and nets.
Have a poorly fish? Then our extensive range of aquarium and pond treatments are just what you need. Remember to test your aquarium or pond water first or ask one of our friendly team to do a test in-store to ensure that there are no underlying issues causing ill health.
REPTILES
Have you seen our reptile room? Tucked away and out of immediate sight is our dedicated reptile room with 75 enclosures housing animals such as Leopard Geckos, Corn Snakes, Chameleons and invertebrates such as tarantulas and millipedes.
Our high-quality selection of reptile food and accessories is pretty impressive if we do say so ourselves. We have expanded on it over the years, and it is an area of the business that we are incredibly proud of – second to our animals, of course!Our range includes various live food such as locusts, crickets and mealworms available in different sizes. Frozen rats and mice are also stocked in various sizes.
Enclosures, décor, heating and monitoring equipment can also all be found. Substrates for all species can also all be found and are available in carry home packs or more economical bulk bags.

We offer a boarding service in our 5-star dedicated reptile hotel. We will ensure your pet reptiles are fed and cared for just as they would be at home.
We have many customers that often return year after year with the knowledge that their pets will be given the TLC they deserve.
Our experienced staff provide peace of mind in taking great care to ensure your pet has a pleasant stay, each and every time they stay with us.
Gift Vouchers & Loyalty Cards
We have been offering Gift Vouchers for years and now they come as a more modern Gift Card.
Gift Cards can be purchased for any amount and can be used to buy anything from our store. They come with unlimited usage date too, meaning there is no rush to use it should you not need too.
Loyalty Cards have also been available for a number of years now. Free to get – they entitle the bearer to collect points on transactions. Once enough points have accumulated they can be used in money off on any purchase. Points however cannot be exchanged for cash.
Rehoming
Rehoming can often be difficult in some circumstances. Depending on space available we are sometimes able to take in unwanted fish or reptiles.

Online Shop?
Sometimes, shopping for a new pet can be a daunting experience, especially if you aren’t sure what you need – this is why we don’t have an online store. We believe that visiting the shop means that you can see what we offer in person and also receive the support and advice that only face-to-face shopping can offer. We love this traditional way. Never say never, but for now, we have no immediate plans for going ‘online’. We are however more than happy to post items to you if you wanted to give us an email or a call.
